On March 23, Professor Ye Jiangfeng, Associate Dean of the School of Business at Anhui University, and Professor Wei Huafei, Director of the Marketing Department, led representatives from the 2023 MBA cohort to visit Anhui Yufeng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. ("Yufeng Intelligent"). They engaged in in-depth discussions on the theme "Frontier Trends in Intelligent Logistics and the Core Logic of Enterprise Management Innovation," exploring new opportunities for university-enterprise collaboration. Wang Lei, Assistant General Manager of Yufeng Intelligent, and relevant department heads participated in the exchange.
During the site visit, faculty and students toured the company's production lines, digital exhibition hall, and final assembly workshop. They observed the digital assembly processes of intelligent logistics equipment such as AMR forklifts and logistics robots, experiencing the innovative practices of the "smart factory." In his welcome speech, Wang Lei expressed that Yufeng Intelligent was honored to serve as a touchpoint for visitors to immerse themselves in the latest developments in intelligent logistics and hoped to deepen knowledge exchange and collaboration.
At the themed seminar titled "Intelligent Chain Future, Unity of Knowledge and Action," the company systematically introduced its decade-long innovation journey: transforming from a traditional warehouse equipment manufacturer to an intelligent logistics system integrator, now offering comprehensive solutions that include intelligent storage systems, logistics robots, and digital twin platforms. Responding to questions about "core technology breakthroughs and ecosystem development," Wang Lei elaborated on the "hardware-software synergy" strategy—differentiated products like narrow-aisle forklifts establish competitive barriers, while proprietary WMS and WCS systems enable intelligent scheduling and optimization. The company aims to deepen industry-academia-research cooperation to build an intelligent logistics ecosystem.
Associate Dean Ye Jiangfeng concluded by emphasizing the mutual empowerment value of university-enterprise collaboration: customized talent development injects new momentum into corporate growth, and MBA students' cross-industry resources facilitate precise industry demand matching. He noted that as manufacturing industry intelligence transformation enters a critical phase, companies must build organizational resilience with strategic focus and activate innovation through open ecosystems.
This visit bridged academic research and industry practice, offering valuable insights for future managers. Anhui University's MBA program continues to explore "scenario-based teaching" models, while Yufeng Intelligent contributes to talent development by sharing industry resources, enriching management talent cultivation and fostering innovation in the intelligent logistics sector.
